We may collect personal information when you book a class or course, purchase a membership or class pass, contact us, or submit an enquiry through our website.

  • information you provide when enquiring about a private workshop

  • messages and other communication you send to us


We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to provide our services and run the studio.

How we use your information

  • manage bookings, memberships, courses and class passes

  • provide the services you have purchased

  • process and administer payments

  • contact you about bookings or changes to classes

  • respond to questions and workshop enquiries

  • maintain our business and accounting records

  • meet legal and administrative obligations


Depending on the situation, we process your information because it is necessary to provide a service you have requested, because we have a legal obligation, or because we have a legitimate business interest in operating and communicating with our customers. These are recognised legal grounds under the GDPR.

Eversports

We use Eversports to manage bookings, customer accounts, memberships, class passes, courses and payments.


When you create an Eversports account or make a booking, personal information may be processed by both SkyGarden and Eversports. Eversports states that, when it provides its studio-management tools, the studio will often act as the data controller while Eversports processes information on the studio's behalf. Eversports also acts independently for some parts of its platform, such as your Eversports account and certain payment services.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to make our website work and to understand how it is used.


Some technologies are necessary for the website to function properly. We may also use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel, to measure website activity, understand the effectiveness of our advertising and improve our marketing.


Where consent is required, these analytics and marketing technologies will only be activated after you have given permission through our cookie settings. You can reject non-essential cookies and change or withdraw your preferences at any time.


Depending on the tools you choose to accept, information such as the pages you visit, your device and browser information, IP address, referral source and interactions with our website may be processed by providers such as Google and Meta.

We use service providers to operate SkyGarden, including Eversports for bookings and payments, Framer for website hosting and forms, and Google Workspace for email and communication.

How long we keep your information

We do not keep personal information for longer than necessary.


As a general rule:


  • workshop enquiries that do not result in a booking may be deleted after 12 months

  • customer and booking information is kept for as long as needed to manage your relationship with SkyGarden

  • financial and accounting records may be retained for 7 years where required by Dutch tax law

  • information may be kept longer where this is necessary to meet a legal obligation or deal with a dispute

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may have the right to:


  • access the personal information we hold about you

  • ask us to correct inaccurate information

  • ask us to delete your information

  • restrict how your information is used

  • object to certain uses of your information

  • receive certain information in a portable format

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent


These rights can depend on the circumstances, and some information may need to be retained because of legal obligations.
